Francisco Galindo (1824-1891), Ruth Galindo's great grandfather, married one of the daughters of Salvio Pacheco and settled on the Rancho Monte del Diablo in 1845. Together with Don Salvio, he helped lay out the town of Todos Santos, later Concord, in 1868. Ruth Galindo and her brother Harold, resided at the house on Amador Avenue, built by Francisco Galindo in 1850. |
